Scottish talent SILVI is venturing into alt-rock with her new single, Possessed. After releasing her sensual ballad, Don’t Wanna Love Againin May the singer is dipping her toe into slightly more angsty waters.

Possessed explores SILVI’s plight to protect her mental health, fighting against insecurities brought upon by herself and others. SILVI sings of fear and helplessness, the weight of doom and difficulty heavy on her shoulders. However, Possessed is a tale of success. The powerful track mirrors the strength SILVI is showing in the fight to protect her inner peace; a fight she ultimately seems to win.

To the delight of her listeners, SILVI’s new single is just as magnificent and consuming as her existing discography. The move from ballads to alt-rock shows her range as an artist, with both genres flattering her song-writing and vocal ability.

After headlining King Tuts last August, SILVI shows no signs of slowing. SILVI has a few live dates to watch out for in the coming months. Her Glasgow date has been postponed to 2024 and is now sold out. However, until you catch her live, you can stream her music here. Keep an eye on her social media for any live performance updates.
