One of Glasgow’s brightest indie rock talents The Kaves are back with the heartfelt new single ‘Soul’
The Kaves have delivered the much anticipated follow up to the outstanding ‘1000 White Lies’ from earlier this year and it comes in the form of a beautiful new track entitled ‘Soul’. The image that popped into my head whilst listening to this track was a festival crowd. People on shoulders singing along and having the time of their lives.
Sway, sing or have a slow dance, ‘Soul’ is a track that really pulls on the heart strings. There’s some handy guitar work and solid drumming but there’s no question that Dave MacDiarmid’s vocals are what makes this song so stunning. You’d struggle to find a better rock vocal performance this year than this one.
