Gig Preview | The Luka State

Cheshire four piece The Luka State are set to make the journey up north for three Scottish shows this April. The tour coincides with the release of the band’s second album “More Than This” which was released on the 10th of March. Tickets are still available for all three shows, Tunnels in Aberdeen on the 6th of April, Church in Dundee on the 7th and finally, the legendary King Tuts in Glasgow on the 8th.

The album centres on the themes that plagued many of us through the global pandemic and cost of living in recent years. Metal health and the need for empathy, understanding and action are key subjects for the band. Frontman Conrad Ellis explains “The album title says it all – people just need to realise and fight for what they’re worth.”

These shows promise to be high energy alternative rock nights to remember. You can find tickets for these shows via the link below, as well as the band’s social media. Support comes from Electric Enemy, the London based alternative rock project from the mind of multi-instrumentalist Jim Lawton.
