As part of Independent Venue Week (IVW), Brothertiger will take to Sneaky Pete’s stage on January 30th. The alias of artist John Jagos will play the Edinburgh venue as the first night of this tour with a Glasgow show taking place the next day.
Set to play tracks from his diverse discography, Brothertiger is bound to bring the venue in the Scottish capital to life. With numerous albums to listen to, and a vibrant and airy 80s feel to a lot of his tunes, you’re bound to find a song you like that you can dance to and/or obsess over. If an artist releases a debut album, it is often a self-titled one but Brothertiger adds yet another twist to his albums. His 2022, and most recent, album is self-titled and produced popular tracks of his such as ‘Arizona‘.
His full-lenth 2015 album, “Out of Touch“, also produced popular songs including fan-favourites like ‘Beyond the Infinite‘, ‘Fall Apart‘ and ‘High Tide‘. The latter of these three currently sits at just under 7 million streams, proving just how popular his work is. If you’re a fan of the 80s, and more specifically the band Tears For Fears, then you’ll love his album “Tears For Fears’ Songs From The Big Chair“, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love Tears For Fears?
