GIG PREVIEW | WINE MOMS+ ONE NINE EIGHT @ AUDIO | 03.02.24

Two of Glasgow’s most exciting new punk bands, Wine Moms and One Nine Eight have banded together to co-headline Audio with support from Wishbone and Vos Rough on February 3rd.

Wine Moms are one of the best live acts coming out of the Glasgow scene, and this will be their first official gig with new drummer Aaron Black. Coming off of the back of a headline gig at the Old Hairdressers in December with the announcement of their new drummer, new single ‘Dogma’ is released February 2nd. This marks an exciting period for one of my favourite up and coming bands and I am very excited to see where they go from here!

Indie punk band One Nine Eight are joining them on this lineup, with their upcoming single out on February 7th and an EP on the way, the fourpiece are definitely a band to keep on your radar throughout the year. Their music takes hints from many different genres, from punkier styles to spaced out pop guitars. They are definitely one to come down and see, especially with so much new music on the way!

The support bands are not ones to miss either, as energetic bands Wishbone and Vos Rough are opening up the show.

Wishbone hail from Glasgow and make energy-filled punk music, with their self titled EP being released in October and cementing them as one of the bands to see live in the scene. With tricks up their sleeves always in store, the band have been teasing that they’ve sourced a flute player for this show, and whatever cover they have in store for Audio will be sure to go down a treat.

Heavy punks Vos Rough have been on the go since 2021, with their live shows bringing them a reputation as one of the rowdiest bands going. This gig is just yet another step in their ascent, upholding their consistent live ratings and keeping themselves in and about the scene.

This lineup is definitely not one to miss, and be quick as it’s on its way to sell out!!
