Single Review | Vistas | Start Again

Vistas release their first single of 2021.

Last week Vistas made a glorious return with feelgood anthem Start Again, the Edinburgh hailing trio’s first new release since their debut album Everything Changes In The End in May last year.

They are back in classic Vistas style with Start Again, a punchy guitar pop track featuring Prentice’s charismatic commanding vocals alongside some catchy riffs and a massive Vistas chorus. The fresh new track showcases their signature energetic sound, oozes confidence and also promises better days to come at a time when the sun is shining and lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease, summer is coming!

Prentice commented: “’Start Again’ was one of the first songs I wrote after I took a bit of time off from writing. It is essentially a song about having writers block and the feelings that come along with worrying where your next idea is going to come from. I think getting this song down really helped to unstick any writer’s block I was having and oiled the wheels of everything that would follow on from this track.”

Vistas is made up of frontman Prentice Robertson, guitarist Dylan Rush and bassist Jamie Law who formed Vistas together in high school. The band has had an incredible journey since kicking things off in 2016; their hard work and passion have seen them support bands like The Wombats, sell-out headline shows, and this year they will grace TRNSMT’s main stage on Saturday. They are a band on the rise, set to embark on their biggest headline tour to date this autumn. Listen to Start Again here.
