Bottle Rockets release third single, Backburn. Glasgow indie rockers have impressed after their successful previous releases When I Tell You and Community Service. Showing once again why they should be regarded as one of Scotland’s finest up and coming bands.

Backburn is a remarkable musical journey that combines heartfelt lyrics, captivating guitar and basslines, and flawless vocals to create an extraordinary piece of music. The track is a toxic confession of giving your all to someone but not having this reciprocated. Despite this you stay with them, even though you know it’s going to hurt you long term. Backburn is another release that showcases Bottle Rockets’ ability to create music that is both musically captivating and emotionally resonant. The song’s great sentimental lyrics, combined with the captivating guitar and basslines and the impeccably layered vocals, make it an absolute gem in the band’s anthem ridden discography.

The bridge is a personal highlight, it features catchy lyrics and heavy drums that help build the track.

Well, it always gets tough but the tough gets going, I told you I’d go but the proof aint showing, well God loves a tryer call yourself messiah, down on my knees saying what’s for you won’t go by you’.

When you mix the bands writing talent with the musical ability they possess, we find ourselves with a band that are bound to reach the high heights of the industry. Bottle Rockets are now beginning to make a name for themselves in the Scottish new wave scene.
