On Sunday May 5th, alternative and indie four-piece The Royston Club bring their Spring Headline Tour to a sold out La Belle Angele. Accompanying frontman, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Tom Faithfull, Sam Jones provides driving drumming with Dave Tute on bass alongside Ben Matthias on lead guitar. The latter band member, Matthias, is also the group’s main songwriter and his lyrics are included in the band’s discography that is ever-growing in style and popularity.
Joining The Royston Club in this sell out show are Edinburgh indie-rock trio Swim School and singer-songwriter Alex Spencer. Fans can expect an electrifying headline set as the Wrexham group perform songs from their dynamic discography. This is set to include tracks from 2023 debut album “Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars“. This record has quickly provided the band with fan-favourites like ‘Blisters‘, ‘52‘ and ‘I’m a Liar‘.
With the setlist’s foundation being within this debut release, The Royston Club are set to include older songs that have amassed millions of streams respectively. These older fan-favourites include 2021 single ‘Mrs Narcissistic‘ and 2020 tracks ‘Mariana‘ and ‘Believe it Or Not‘ both taken from debut EP “This State I’m In“. This is quickly building up to be an unforgettable night of alternative and indie talent from across the UK.
