Through unique vocals, storytelling lyrics and heartfelt hooks, James Marriott has quickly made himself a household name internationally. Previously, Marriott took his anthemic sound on a huge sold-out tour and looks to replicate this with the UK leg of his Are We There Yet Tour. On January 29th, Marriott will bring his tour to Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele, a venue in the Scottish capital that has played host to a huge variety of artists and bands.
The independent Brighton based artist recently released the latest addition to his discography in the form of his debut album, “Are We There Yet?“. Not only does this album give the tour it’s name, it peaked at Number 17 in the UK charts and the highest it sat was Number 2 in the Independent album charts. It has also given James Marriott some of his most popular tracks to date. This includes singles ‘So Long‘ and ‘Romanticise This‘ which have provided him with over 5 million streams between these two tracks alone. The ten-track musical masterpiece follows in the footsteps of previously successful singles and tracks like fan-favourite ‘Grapes‘, obtaining over 7.5 million Spotify streams in the process.
With the Glasgow date quickly selling out, James Marriott soon announced a second Scottish date, this time in the Scottish capital. Hoping to make it a completely sold out tour, this Edinburgh date is the final date to sell out with a handful of tickets still available. With so many catchy and captivating tunes, it is building up to be an unforgettable night filled with the best of British humour and talent fused with the energy of a Scottish crowd.
