Tolbooth Café Concerts: Stirling’s weekly free music event

If pints in a beer garden are getting a bit tedious, Tolbooth in Stirling is offering a nice alternative for your summer weekend plans.

Tolbooth is redoing its regularly occurring Café Concert series for the summer holidays. Every weekend from June 17th, the venue is hosting a free and informal concert from 1.30-2.30 in the afternoon. Food and drink are also available onsite.

The acts vary every weekend, spanning a range of genres. There’s something for everyone this summer at Tolbooth, and it’s definitely an event worth supporting.

This weekend sees Scottish folk singer Man of the Minch. Winner of the 2019 Up and Coming Artist of the Year award at the Scottish Trad Awards, Man of the Minch is not an act to be missed.

Closing the event is Xan Tyler, a singer-songwriter from Fife. With eclectic rhythms and gentle lyricism, Xan will close the event beautifully, ending the summer on a high.

For more information regarding the event, visit the Tolbooth’s social media and the Stirling Events website.
