SINGLE REVIEW | THUNDERMOON FT. MEGAN BLACK | YOU. ME.

If you have found yourself wondering what this years ‘song of the summer’ will be, there’s a high chance it could be Edinburgh electronic duo Thundermoon’s latest single. Set to be released on May 23rd, it was hailed BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week, and follows their second EP “We Can Do Better Than This”.

The single, “You. Me.” features fellow Scot, Megan Black, whose vocals intertwine perfectly with the synth pop track. The twinkling synth laced throughout the song aids the catchy lyrics and ensures this will be a song stuck in your head once you hear it. A celebration of queer love and the LGBT community, this single is releasing in perfect timing for festival season.

Thundermoon stated the song is “about that electric moment of being seen and known, and dancing through it,” and this upbeat dance anthem is the perfect reflection of that. The song has a sense of unity that ties the theme together, seamlessly blending dance music, classic vocals and a feeling of togetherness.

The duo have been added to the lineup for Kelburn Garden Party lineup, and their summer anthem “You. Me.” will be released on May 23rd
