Aberdeen based alternative band Moody Moody have released their latest track Echoes Of You (the 3rd single on their current release cycle). Combining elements of shoegaze and dream pop the band have strived to ‘create alternative bangers’ and continue to succeed in this with their new release. Moody Moody show great attention to detail, crafting another wall of sound that has their Scottish and Aberdonian identity at the very heart of it.
Haunting reverberated guitars add to the poignance of the track which explores how our identity is shaped by our individual lived experiences. The soundscape created by the guitars provides a dreamy backdrop for the vocals to tell their story whilst also exploring a sound reminiscent of some of the best Scottish rock bands in recent times.
Released on September 25th, you can hear Echoes of You below.
Fans can catch Moody Moody live, headlining Drummonds in their hometown Aberdeen on the October 30th with Glasgow and Edinburgh dates on the horizon.
