Scottish Indie lads are back with a speaker-blowing double release.
Fresh from unleashing their debut album, East Lothian hailing five-piece The Rah’s are back this week with more new music, this time in the form of a noisy double release. The band have gained frequent support from Radio 1 and BBC Introducing Scotland on recent releases and they have been making waves with their support slots having previously toured with The Fratellis and The View.
The first single Our Design is an indie guitar track which features soaring guitar riffs and powerful vocals. The track is a statement of intent, offering raw and insightful lyrics that tell the story of the band’s journey. The track builds momentum nicely and also features a massive guitar solo towards the end. The future of Scottish guitar music is certainly safe in their hands!
The second track is the anthemic “If Your Never Try (You’ll Never Know)”, which is equally impressive with its crunchy guitars and heavy drum beats, but has a more bluesy spin to it. It grabs your attention with its gritty and infectious sound and is made to be blasted out on full volume.
The Rah’s have made quite the entrance this year with their onslaught of releases showcasing their raw energy and impressive sound. The five-piece are gearing up for their return to live performance this October as they are set to play a string of live dates including a sold-out show at Sneaky Pete’s.
