Glasgow band, The Ninth Wave are back bringing the noise with their latest single, Happy Days! The tune is the first song that will feature on their forthcoming EP.
Happy Days! gives fans a new sense of direction as the song builds and builds into a soft but harsh listen. The flow to the tune is something only to be admired which complaints the loud backbeat throughout the three and a half minute duration. The Ninth Wave are one of many Scottish bands to release new music recently, however, this could be the pick out the bunch.
The lyrics to Happy Days! is also something most can seem to relate to. All about the highs and lows of life, The Ninth Wave have captured the harsh reality of life unbelievably well.
Recording the tune with no other than The Horrors’ frontman, Faris Badwan, we are all keen to see the finished results on the full EP, Happy Days! which hits all the shelves on July 17th.
Releasing the track on the back of their well received debut album, Infancy, Happy Days! is yet another big statement made by the Glasgow outfit.
