Mosaics are a five piece band from Fife, with “In Your Head” being their first single release of 2024.
Since their creation in 2019, they’ve played across Scotland, including performing at their first big headline show at PJ Molloy’s at the start of 2023. Their previous single, “Part of You”, was added to the Spotify editorial playlist ‘Fresh Finds UK & IE’.
“In Your Head” kickstarts with a crunching, fun guitar riff that sets the tone of the song and it carries throughout. Fused with awesome drums, this song is a great anthem for all those self doubt moments we all experience. The tremolo used in the second verse is really nice and sleek, differentiates tones and is sweet on the ear.
I’m here for the line;
“Forget the worries that you gave yourself, don’t let the moment pass you by”
A bit of a carpe diem song, taking all the opportunites when they present to us, although our heads could get in the way.
The chorus is filled with good vibes and is instantly catchy.
“Gotta learn to love yourself”.
This tune is a banger, reminds me of a great song, “Zoom” by Last Dinosaurs, which I love.
“In Your Head” is set to be released on the 23rd of February.
