SINGLE REVIEW | KEIR GIBSON | CIRCLES

Keir Gibson comes at us with his latest single ‘Circles’ to help us get through these lockdown woes. As with his previous releases the 19-year-old from Fort William brings a presence within the Scottish music scene way more polished and professional than you would expect of someone so young. This speaks volumes for his natural talent and has given him the recognition he is so deserving, from Radio 1 airtime to Belladrum and even Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Party, an impressive resumé for a lad who just left school last year.

Circles is everything you would expect from Keir Gibson powerful and soulful lyrics with infectious pop-indie beats to have you swaying and tapping along to. Lyrically it tells the story of a toxic relationship which two people realise is such but without the strength to say their final goodbyes. Giving off a wistful synth vibe that could be mistaken for a Chainsmokers sample.

It is clear that Keir has a long and successful future ahead of himself and Circles is the latest stepping-stone for him in that journey in becoming a possible chart topper.
