We are delighted to have the chance to premiere the new single from Glasgow rockers Idle Comets!
The song was written and performed by William Coates during lockdown, which actually was the main inspiration for it. The song is supposed to give a “summery vibe” through the choruses, however, the verses take a look into some of his own thoughts throughout the lockdown, wishing to be taken back to more pleasant, happier times.
Some musical techniques were also tried that they haven’t used before with vocals,by really trying to push the boat out this time with backing vocals and guitar riffs.
