‘Here Comes Summer’ is a stunning feel good, lively track by none other than the rock ‘n’ roll four piece from Fife, The Decrees. This track, feels almost reminiscent of summers in the past, that makes anyone listening look forward to hot days filled with living memories. It has summer loving type lyrics, and an intoxicatingly catchy chorus. The Decrees have taken the feeling of wanting summer to last forever and made a tune that will be forever timeless. A tune you can imagine being played during a road trip, making it a cinematic sounding masterpiece. This track is everything and tells a story about the time of year when everything feels easier. The Decrees are the type of band that music fans will fall in love with immediately because this tune, in particular, is about being young and living life to the fullest. Exploding with potential, The Decrees are definitely on my ‘Ones to Watch’ list and I will be looking forward to catching one of their gigs when things get back to normal!
