GIG REVIEW | THE SNUTS @ SWG3

The West Lothian boys hit the big stage! The 4 piece boy band from Whitburn played 2 nights in a row on the 28th and 29th of July at SWG3 Galvanizers Yard. The indie rockers gave the crowd an incredible set list containing 23 songs, with some of their well know songs such as ‘Glasgow’ and ‘Burn the Empire’ as well as bringing back ‘Whats Going On’ from their EP ‘The Matador’. On the set list a new song made an appearance called ‘Dreams’ that’s still to be released. They sold out both nights along with selling amazing new merch, this was the boys biggest headline show yet!

The Snuts have gained a following of fan community where they enjoyed a pre-party both days and were seen all night long on both date’s singing and dancing together. This included fans bringing interesting items to get the crowd going, such as bubbles, as well as a tambourine that front man Jack Cochrane noticed and their even was a wedding proposal! When speaking to a fan who travelled from Manchester for both nights they said:

“It was a magical two nights. Not just because of the incredible set list, set design and performances – it was the beautiful energy from the crowd that made the show so special for me”

Both nights started off with amazing support from the Friday with We Were Promised Jetpacks and Uninvited and on the Saturday Vistas and Parliamo. As both nights were full with many exciting surprises the crowd were shocked when half way through ‘Cosmic Electronica’, Big Bemz and Psweatpants came out to wow the crowd and that they did.

The band have had a lot of success from releasing their latest single ‘Gloria’ and it has been Record/Track Of The Week on multiple radio stations. They recently were on tour with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson in America, and this has resulted in The Snuts gaining so many new fans!

The only way to describe both nights was absolutely euphoric, The Snuts did an outstanding job pleasing the crowd and putting on mind blowing shows. If you haven’t already seen the incredibly talented lads live you must make it your point to see them live at their potential headline world tour planned for next year!
