Following a sold out Barrowlands headliner in November, the hip swaying East Kilbride poet -Declan Welsh – and his band – The Decadent West – hit the road again for a sell out mini UK tour. Starting this week in Nottingham, the band will conclude the tour in the the capital on Saturday 22nd April in Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele.
This mini tour comes as a warm up to the band’s second album ‘2’ which is due for release in September. Their most recent single from the upcoming album, King of my Head, hints at a darker, post-punk sound which should take them into a fresh new era. It’s feels like a natural transition for this four piece and we are most definitely here for it.
Tickets are extremely limited for the only Scottish date on this tour so if you plan on catching these guys before the new era fully kicks off then this is your chance. Support comes from the brilliant PSweatpants.
