I’ve been a part of DM since November 2018

Out with DM, I am a music student currently in my second and I also enjoy art.
Who’s your favourite Scottish artists?
My favourite Scottish artists are Biffy Clyro, We Came From Wolves, Twin Atlantic and Frightened Rabbit.
Best gig you have been to?
Best gig I have been to was Pearl Jam in London. It was amazing to see such an iconic band and their sound was incredible.
Favourite festival you have attended?
Glasgow summer sessions, I’ve been twice and both times it has been amazing.
If you could create your own festival, who would be your 3 headliners?
This is a tough one, probably Wolf Alice, The Cure and Kings of Leon.
What’s your favourite genre of music and why?
I like pretty much any subgenre of rock. I like the range that comes within the style and I like how the songs usually have meaningful lyrics.
How would you describe the Scottish music scene in 3 words?
Wild, boozy and loud.
What’s the best and worst thing about the Scottish Music scene?
The best thing is definitely the community. I like how supportive people are of their local bands as well as smaller artists. I also love how supportive crowds are at gigs. I can’t really think of a worst thing.
Favourite drink at the pub?
Vodka lemonade is my go to drink.
