SINGLE REVIEW | WHEN YOU ARE FALLING | PANHEAD SHARPS

Dunfermline indie-rock band, Panhead Sharps, recently released their newest single When You Are Falling.

The single delivers a message of hope and connection and acts as a reminder that no matter how alone we feel in dark hours of our lives, there will always be someone there for us.

John Simpson, lead singer, said: “This powerful track speaks to those moments of struggle and resilience.”

Opening When You Are Falling is (name) grungy bass strums before (name) kicks in with the drums and John begins the vocals. Rough vocals match the feel of the lyrics as the music supports, culminating in a solid rock sound.

“If nothing lasts forever, if nothing ever lasts, I’m haunted by these demons and ghosts from the past,” John sings before the instrumental takes centre stage and the track ramps up to a climactic end.

Overall, When You Are Falling vocalises the message the band aimed to get across to listeners and it makes for a great foundation for their future music. Indie-rock fans watch this space as Panhead Sharps are here to stay and grow ever more popular with each release.

When You Are Falling released on 15 November and is available to listen now on the band’s Spotify. It’s Panhead Sharps’ fourth single as they continue to build their sound.

You can catch when and where the band is next playing by checking their Instagram. No dates have been released at the time of writing. However, the trio consistently performs around the UK and has just wrapped up a three-city tour back in November.
