If you haven’t heard of The Big Day by now, then it’s time to get acquainted. The Glasgow hailing quartet’s distinctive sound and knockout live shows have solidified them as one of the most exciting young bands in Scotland just now; their signature sound blends slick pop hooks with an 80’s twist, and each new single transcends the boundaries of the current indie scene.
‘Back To Business’ is The Big Day’s fourth single release and follows last month’s ‘Bad Things’. The new offering delivers an easy breezy summery soundscape about perseverance through hard times and coming out the other side stronger for it.
The band said of the track: “’Back To Business’ is the band’s most personal release so far. It’s about hitting an all-time low, whilst maintaining a strong belief that through perseverance, patience and good people around you – you’ll eventually rise from the ashes, shake it all off and come back out on top. They hope that the song acts as a reminder to people who are going through similar experiences, that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel and there will always be something to fight for.”
