Full Fat have honed their craft for over a decade now, becoming regulars within the local live scene in Aberdeen. They have built a reputation of always delivering a tight and enjoyable performance as well as having fantastic musical skill. Now based in Leith, Full Fat have evolved from their initial blues sound adding elements of funk, rock, indie and soul over the years.

New single Every Hour Is You is a laid back soulful song about being unable to stop thinking about one person. The main hook of the song is one that will stick with you and is even more effective with the drop out of all instruments. However, it’s the sparkling intro that will pull you in. Once into the first verse, the ever present funk-infused bass line provides an interesting counter melody to the lead vocals which is accompanied by a mid-tempo drum groove. All the moving parts ensure that Full Fat’s latest release shows the wide range of influences they can inject into their sound. A feel good track that is going straight into my Sunday morning playlist!
Every Hour Is You has been newly released on 20th March and you can listen to it here!
