SINGLE REVIEW | CALLUM STEWART | STAY

Up and coming Scottish artist Callum Stewart barges into the scene with his long-awaited debut single ‘Stay’.

Callum Stewart, hailing from the outskirts of Motherwell and deeply engaged in the music scene of Glasgow, showcases his locally inspired summertime vibe on his debut single ‘Stay’. After playing venues like King Tuts and SWG3 TV Studio supporting Artists Ben Walker and Rianne Downey, the Glasgow based singer songwriter announced the debut single that was released July 12th

The track starts with a catchy beat that captivates the listener before heading into Stewart’s soothing vocals. The song lyrics tell the tale of a separation from a partner or a close childhood relationship that was lost when they moved far away, only to return unexpectedly. Waiting for your love but you moved away so far, now you’re back in my life, just can’t take it anymore.”

Callum Stewart also has his own session band. It is made up of 3 members, Callum on guitar, Ethan on drums and Ben on bass.

Look out for the rising star as I’m guessing he has lots more to come, so stay tuned to his socials for any announcements. If you like upbeat and positive songs with a summer vibe, you should definitely give the local artist a listen!
