Through the lace and glitter knees, the self-proclaimed “Essex Pop Girl” took the stage for the first time ever in Glasgow. Erin LeCount headlined the TV Studio at SWG3 on the second night of her PAREIDOLIA tour, delivering by far the greatest solo-stage production which had me entranced with every click of a button or press of a key. For someone who developed a large online following in such little time, the “LeCult” as referred to by fans will only keep getting larger.
Erin LeCount began her career in music as a teenager, competing in music competition ‘The Voice Kids’ reaching the 2017 finale, leading to her debut single ‘Killing Time’ releasing late 2022. However, it wasn’t until the release of cover-mashup ‘White Ferrari x I Know The End’ which led to the beginning of her world takeover. Since then, Erin has only gone up and up in her career, amounting over 900,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and selling out venues ranging from a 90 cap Rae’s to 3000 at the Roundhouse.

Ruby Roberts opened the stage with an acoustic version of her single ‘Follow the Dolphins’ capturing the audience’s attention immediately, with fans scattered across the room singing lyrics back. Ruby is quickly becoming a rising star in the music scene and in my opinion is one to watch. With her curated styling and distinct music style, Roberts has got everything to perfection and I am excited to see what the future brings her.
At 8:45pm exactly, we were transported down the rabbit hole into the world of PAREIDOLIA with a short monologue mixed with samples from her songs. Opening with ‘I BELIEVE’ straight away had the crowd chanting every lyric back to her, making her way through the setlist and various fan traditions such as the heaven flag. Erin closed out the show with Silver Spoon skipping off stage followed by the screams of hundreds of fans.
