Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are set to bring their groovy melodies to the famous Barrowlands in Glasgow on Friday 27 January 2023 as part of Celtic Connections, with support coming from singer/songwriter Cara Rose.

Standing out by creating a unique sound and niche made up of rich arrangements and well-crafted songs, the Glasgow-based band are known for delivering outstanding live performances. Their new single ‘Unshakable’ came out on 13 January.

The funk soul powerhouse started out busking in the streets of Glasgow and quickly went viral with their debut single ‘Ric Flair’ in 2018, combining over 600K views on Facebook and almost 200K on Youtube.

Following on from this newly gained exposure and success, they released their first album in 2019 and sold out a show at QMU in Glasgow. The band have since secured support slots for iconic acts such as Craig Charles and George Clinton while headlining many Scottish festivals and touring in the U.K. and Europe.

Speaking of which, the energetic gang has announced a UK tour kicking off in April and taking them to Liverpool, London, Southampton, Birdport, Gloucester and Carlisle. As for their Scottish fans, they will get another chance to see them perform in Aberdeen on 18 March.
