Gig Preview | The 1975 @ The OVO Hydro | 8th & 9th February 2024

Returning to Glasgow, and “Still…at their very best” The 1975 are kicking off their highly anticipated tour by performing two sold out nights at the OVO Hydro on 8th and 9th February and believe me, we’re all excited to see what they’ve got planned this time!

Formed in 2002, in the small English town of Wilmslow, a pop- rock band created by members Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel bounced onto the scene and changed the lives of their now massive and loyal fan base!

Their previous tour “at their very best” stopped by Glasgow last January and certainly did not disappoint. Playing hits such as “Robbers” and “Somebody Else” they transformed the Hydro stage into a theatrical performance leaving the crowd questioning what was real and what was part of “the show”. Now returning once again, “Live in SHOW and CONCERT”, I can only expect that this show will only be bigger, better and even more chaotic!

Joining them on tour is The Japanese House, also known as Amber Mary Bain, an indie/pop musician from Buckinghamshire who, actually, through becoming friends and working closely with Matty Healy and The 1975 on creating music, eventually also became signed to their label “Dirty Hit”.

Tickets for this event in Glasgow are currently sold out but keep having a look because you might be lucky to grab a resale from Ticketmaster.
