American indie-punk rockers Mannequin Pussy are due to bring their sound to Glasgow’s King Tuts, armed with a fresh album demanding of attention.
The band released their latest album ‘I Got Heaven’ in March, bringing us some refreshingly bold tunes. The title track ‘I Got Heaven’ is sure to be a crowd pleaser live, with the aggressive vocals contrasting a melodic chorus. Fan favourites from the album such as ‘Loud Bark’ and ‘I Don’t Know You’ will certainly sound impactful in the iconic Glasgow venue, as the tracks go from perfect melodic vocals to screaming alongside grungy riffs.
This gig is definitely one to check out whilst the American rockers are in town, especially in an intimate and famous venue such as King Tuts. Local fans will be thrilled at the opportunity to see them in such a venue.
