FESTIVAL PREVIEW | TRUCK FESTIVAL | OXFORDSHIRE 21-23 JULY

To say that Truck Festival and Steventon in Oxfordshire are synonymous would not be so far from the truth. Somewhat of an institution, the festival has been running since 1998 with nothing but growing success since day one. It was created as an alternative to the likes of Glastonbury and the over commercialised festival space. Making the joy of festival frolicking accessible to more people, all the while maintaining exciting music acts and activities for all the family. Truck festival also has a strong ethos, and is committed to creating a safe and friendly space for all, including their outreach work in the community. Not only bringing good music to Oxfordshire but also work experience for teens and young people, building relationships with local businesses, supporting local charities, celebrating the local arts and culture scene… to name but a few!

The festival itself is host to no less than 5 stages: truck stage, the market stage, palm city, the barn featuring the rockin’ chair, and the nest. You can expect such headliners as Two Door Cinema Club, alt-J, The Wombats, DMA’s, The Vaccines and Royal Blood. The only thing wrong with this festival is deciding which stage to be at without missing an absolute belter of a show elsewhere. It’s very much an indie/alternative vibe, bringing all the happy-party-feels your summer needs. And there’s no need to worry about accessibility as Truck have got you covered.

Tickets are selling incredibly fast but still available at the time of writing this. So why are you still here, get over to the Truck festival’s ticket page to get yours now!
