SINGLE REVIEW | HITLIST | DON’T LET ME GO

Aberdeen’s freshest indie band release ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ on 19th May as second single.

Hitlist, an indie four piece from the Granite City, release their highly awaited second single ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ demonstrating why they are one of the country biggest prospects. Inspired by The Snuts and indie bands alike, Hitlist are a fine demonstration of everything indie rock.

The track layers strong, commanding drums with waves of catchy electric guitar combining to form a strong opening. With the addition of lead singer Callum Jones’ vocals and heartfelt lyrics, the track becomes an instant indie banger. Speaking to Callum, he said, “The single is out on the 19th of May and we are buzzing for it, The recording process went really well and went with a local Aberdeen studio ‘Captain Toms’ as we felt more comfortable there. Playing Gigs outside of Aberdeen is unreal and to see people turn up for them we are forever grateful”

Alongside the tracks release, Hitlist have announced that they will play B12’s ‘Melted’ at Broadcast in Glasgow on Friday 9th June. They will play the show alongside Forgetting the Future, The Too Late and The Braes. This will be their third show in Glasgow, branching out after local success. Hitlist have already supported The Snuts, sold out a show at The Cellar, and have recently played local fan zones in partnership with Aberdeen FC.
