Dundee duo and musical force Beta Waves grace listeners with breezy and carefree single ‘UDH2’

Dundee duo and musical force Beta Waves grace listeners with breezy and carefree single ‘UDH2’. After appearing in front of audiences all across the country and receiving critical acclaim with the likes of singles such as ‘Hideaway’ and ‘Ad Lib’, we are met with a track that can only be described as true to what the duo have been inputting to the already bustling Dundee scene.

The track is very inspired by the use of drum machines that was utilised and became synonymous in the 80s with them acting as a sweet and fitting backdrop to the vocals that seem to wash over the track in such a natural fashion. The layers of this track are exceptional with the guitars and the keyboards working as such an effective cacophony to accompany the echoed nature of the vocals to create something that is akin with something that would not be entirely out of place in an 80s coming of age film. Overall, the track is a breezy rollercoaster of pure sonic pleasure, with the climax bellowing the important message of ‘you don’t have to be alone’ a message that could come to some cathartic use for the listeners going through such a turbulent time in the world.

The duo have been making waves in their hometown of Dundee with recent shows at mainstay venues such as The Harvey S Thompson in February of this year and their stock continues to be on the rise, with this single being another impressive addition to an already stacked discography.
