There is absolutely nothing we love more than stumbling across a brand-new artist who has managed to slip under our radar! Aiden Driver is an up-and-coming musician hailing from Stirling, Scotland. He is well and truly making 2022 his year, dropping an onslaught of new music with each new tune more impressive than the last.
Following last month’s ‘Turn Back Time’, dreamy pop offering ‘One More Day’ marks Aiden’s fourth release of the year. The track starts out with Aiden’s beautifully melodic voice over some lovely piano before a simple beat kicks in and we’re treated to some nice vocal harmonies that tear on your heart strings. Needless to say, he’s one to keep an eye on!
Lyrically the track is deep and personal, Aiden commented: “The song was inspired by a friend moving away and I wrote it before the last night I saw him. I took that whole feeling of finality, of wanting more time, and recontextualised it into a relationship song.”
