A dreamy debut from exciting young artist Robyn Red.
Young Robyn Red is a 16 year-old singer/songwriter from Airdrie. Constantly gigging, she has already made a name for herself in the music community, now being announced as part of the King Tuts Summer Nights line up, supporting Archie CW on August 7th. I was lucky enough to catch her live a few months ago supporting The Rooks.
Robyns’ debut single ‘Like a Bullet’ is set to be released this Friday, and it is nothing short of impressive. A folk-pop song about missing someone who once was your number one, the track features some beautiful guitar work paired with catchy pop drum beats and rhythm.
“Every time i see you/the memories come through my head/like a bullet”.
At such a young age, Robyns’ vocals are beyond her. Sounding mature and singing with passion, she is comparable to a young Emili Sandé, or Zoe Graham.
