Gig Preview | The Bootleg Beatles @ Usher Hall

The Bootleg Beatles have announced a 15-date UK Christmas tour, in which the world’s best tribute act will be bringing their hyper-realistic show to packed out concert halls and theatres, including Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall (5th December) and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall (6th December).

If you were lucky enough to have experienced the Beatles live – incredible, we’re all very jealous of you. If you’ve never had that opportunity – as most have not – this is the next best thing, and it is absolutely a show that should not be missed if you are a fan of the Fab Four.

The Bootlegs promise a fabulous show taking us through six or seven different periods of the Beatles’ journey, complete with vintage film interludes. It’s all here…the iconic mop top haircuts, the famous Chelsea boots, the Sgt Pepper tunics and the Chesterfield suits …and with a little help as ever from their ever-popular evergreen orchestral ensemble, this multi-media show is an absolute must-see for Beatle fans of all ages.

I’ve been a Beatles fan all my life, but then again who isn’t a Beatles fan? “Final single” Now And Then has recently been release and it felt like a fitting thank you and goodbye from the original band. The Bootlegs touring at the same time, gathering fans to celebrate the band that changed our musical and cultural landscape forever feels even more fitting.
