Twenty years ago ‘Funeral For A Friend’ released their incredible album ‘Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation’ and there would be no better way to celebrate this anniversary than a tour!
Glasgow’s O2 academy will welcome the Welsh alternative rockers on Sunday 8th October, and we cannot wait -they’ve been absent too long! When this iconic album was released back in October 2023, it feels so special with the opportunity to celebrate and see this band live for the huge milestone this album has reached.
Popular hits from the album include ‘Rookie of the Year’ which was featured on the WrestleMania 21 soundtrack, and my personal favourite – ‘Juneau’.
After seeing them play at Download 2022 it was confirmation of how much the world missed the hardcore punk rockers but equally left fans with a sting of grief wondering when we’ll see them again. They will be welcomed by so many fans who will be ecstatic to travel back into nostalgia, especially for this album. Funeral For A Friend will also be heading to Manchester, London, Norwich, Leeds, Birmingham, and Cardiff.
For those who can make the Scottish date, we are in for an amazing night as you’ll also be able to catch the amazing support band ‘Dead Pony’. The Scottish post-punk rockers are outstanding live and will definitely get the job done in getting the crowd hyped and ready for what will be a massive night!
