Single Review | Dylan Winters | The Night Before The Morning After

“The Night Before The Morning After” is the newest release from Dylan Winters, a musician from Glasgow. As well as himself, this tune features guitarist Mollie Wilson, bassist Robbie Copeland, and drummer Aiden McMahon.

Three words to describe this song are; loud, fast and energetic!

The song jumps right in, opening with an infectious beat and bass line. The guitar throughout is absolutely electric, full of vigour and so lively. Really cool grunge vocals, a great tone that goes really well with the guitars. It’s giving me Arctic Monkeys vibes, and the harmonies are placed perfectly.

The song itself seems to be describing what should be a right good night out, but actually it’s about temptation and fighting an urge.

It would be so easy to leave it alone”

“I don’t want to wake up with my head full of regret.”

“The Night Before The Morning After” is a really well put together tune, with great lyrics and a cool guitar. Very similar vibes to The Fratellis and The Killers, I think it will be one I will have on repeat!
