SINGLE REVIEW | SILVER DOLLAR ROOM | COME MORNING

The first single from Silver Dollar Room’s forthcoming sophomore album, titled ‘Come Morning’, is a moody track that explores the theme of craving validation and connection.

The song starts off with finger-picked electric guitar and drums which then bursts into loud gritty guitar with crashing drums. As the first verse starts, the music fades into the background, allowing the vocals to take centre stage.

The track delves into the frustrations of feeling isolated and yearning for human connection in a fragmented and troubled world. This theme is summed up in lyrics like “Other people’s pictures steal your joy / Insecure and beauty is the ugly man’s toy”.

The band says that the song is for anyone who is longing to feel appreciated. With the songs dark sound and lyrics which lay bare the desire for a deep bond, the band have done exactly what they set out to.

‘Come Morning’ is the debut single from the band’s forthcoming album ‘It Can’t Rain All The Time’, which is set to be released in September 2025. The track available to stream now and you can connect with the band on social media to keep up to date with them.
