“Bad Knees” is an up-and-coming indie-rock quartet set to bring fresh energy and authenticity to the music scene.
Formed In Edinburgh 2024, the four piece is defying expectations with their DIY and authentic style to creative accessible music for all.
Through their unique look on music, they are gaining a loyal audience. Their upcoming song “Wallace” is set to release on June 6th, 2025!
“Wallace” is inspired by a surprising encounter between a stray dog and the lead singer Michael.
Michael stumbled across the dog, who had seemed to be lost from home, he took it back to his garden where amusingly chaos arose. The dog had tore Michael’s garden up while he attempted to find the dog’s owner. In the end, Michael took the dog to the shelter revealing that the dog’s name was “Wallace” and he had simply jumped the fence in order for a bit of adventure! This sparked the creation of their new single that shows the challenges and how life can be surprising.
The track combines introspective lyrics with strong, powerful chords that capture both chaos and emotion that come from the story as well as a metaphor to what life can be like, showing unexpected turns can lead to heartfelt moments.
Staying true to their sound, Bad Knees pours their heart and soul into every creation they make. As a band with a DIY ethic, they take control over their entire creative process. From writing and recording to mixing and editing their own music video, the band do it all!
They do it themselves to have that freedom to show who they really are as a band un the music scene.
