The Falkirk five-piece Static have released their new single ‘Exhausted’ on February 27th, and doesn’t disappoint if you know whats good for ye.

Their intro is straight to the point with punchy rhythms, capturing the listener’s attention and creating a sense of urgency. The fast-paced guitars from start to finish are a main focus as well as the powerful rock vocals that shout melodically throughout the track.
This single, for me, is their strongest release that they’ve created. The chorus grabs you and doesn’t let go for the whole day. I’ve seen them a few times live now and they’re such a great band live as well as in the studio. The band is made up of Alicia MacDonald on vocals, Ethan Russell and Logan Ballantyne guitars, Lewis Murray bass, and Michael Miller working in the thump department (drums). For this track, it has been produced by Blair Crichton. The song has had multiple spins on BBC Introducing and rightly so.
Definitely go along and see this band live and you’ll be thinking “goodness me him from Discovery Music was spot on”, or even give it a listen on your streaming platforms and you’ll be thinking “goodness me him from Discovery Music was spot on, I’m saving that tune”.
