Up and coming Glaswegian pop artist Rosin McCarney has released her second single of the year, Juggler.
A kick drum brings in the beat as McCarney starts to sing, it’s clear from the opening lyrics she is comparing her experience with a toxic partner to that of a circus juggler, thus the name of the song. There’s a real sense of excitement in McCarney’s tone that is incredibly reminiscent of some of Lady Gaga’s early work, this is only exemplified with the catchy chorus. During the chorus McCarney sings, “J-U-G-G-L-E-R, throw around my bleeding heart“, it’s a great follow up from the bridge in which she goes through the letters of Juggler and describes what they mean. The backing instruments of the tune remain consistent throughout, the chorus has a great electronic dance sound to it that’ll get your head bobbing along if it’s not already.
Rosin McCarney is an exciting act you should keep your eyes on, as it seems she’s only going to keep growing.
