SINGLE REVIEW | EACH CONFIDE | ‘I’

Glasgow’s rebranded alternative pop duo ‘Each Confide’ are back with a bang as they’ve recently released their brand new single ‘I’ which is giving the absolute summer vibes!!

They are a dream for anyone who needs some more synth/dream pop sound in their lives (who doesn’t) but perhaps you’re suffering from post-TRNSMT blues – then this is the single to check out and recharge your summer music feels, especially as this single ‘I’ carries musical inspiration from the 1975 who were performing at this years TRNSMT.

Based out of the East End of Glasgow, Each Confide (formerly known as MIRRORS) is made up of two fantastic friends Chris and Craig who decided to bring together a unique sound that lacks across Scotland’s music scene. I am personally a huge fan of those synth-pop sounds and I think they are well suited for anyone who is a fan of The Midnight, The 1975, Blossoms, The Ivy or Harry Styles.

The latest single, ‘I‘ carries lead vocals from Chis who has a really unique sound with his vocal notes, which compliment the overall sound of this cool, alternative pop track!

The song is full of overlays of percussion and is and hits you hard with synth waves. It’s the type of track you want to chill out in a beer garden to, when you’re getting ready with your friends for a summer night out, to have in the background in a sunny park picnic or even to add on your summer road trip playlist.

The chorus is super simple but catchy and it’s really easy to pick up and sing along too as it describes the experience of anticipating the end of something that is special but at the same time not wanting to deal with the reality of what is going on.

After a successful sold-out debut show at The Old Hairdressers Glasgow, Each Confide will be back performing live for the second time next month where you can catch them at King Tut’s Summer Nights supporting Scottish Tik Tok star Littlest Chicken.

‘I’ is now available to stream on multiple platforms which you can check out here:
