On December 4, James McVey, one of four members of the British boyband The Vamps, will begin his sold out two-show solo tour at Glasgow’s SWG3 Poetry club.
Since gaining popularity with The Vamps more than a decade ago, the British singer-songwriter’s career has taken off. James McVey, who just seven months ago began a run of solo gigs, is returning to Glasgow for a unique two-show event that will begin in Glasgow and proceed to London.
Grace Gachot is a rising pop sensation from London who is providing support for the evening. With her most recent performance alongside Kylie Minogue at BST Hyde Park, her largest venue to date, Grace has demonstrated her support for music royalty over the years.
If you’re a casual listener and haven’t listened to McVey’s most recent EP, you won’t feel left out because it features his characteristic pop style. His most recent EP, “Letters from Home,” along with previous singles, will fit neatly into the setlist.
With over 271K streams combined, the fan favourites “All the Things” and “Thick and Thin” are set to be played, ensuring that the evening is full with well-known pop hits.
For my part, I am definitely looking forward to this tour, which is looking like a really excellent show. Glasgow’s SWG3 Poetry Club will host James McVey and his band on December 4th, and I have no doubt that it will be an amazing evening.
