The heart of hearts when it comes to festivals, running since 2004 Belladrum is back for another outstanding year. Belladrum never fails to impress with its line-up and this year is set to be no different with headliners including Travis, Bastille and Sigrid. You’re guaranteed for a good time. Located just outside of Inverness, it’s one of the more Northern festivals of the year. On offer is a genre bending set of ear pleasing artists. You can expect to hear everything from folk to funk and beyond.
The Thursday kicks off with a bang. You’ll get to hear a listening feast from those such as Sam Ryder, The Zutons, Skerryvore, Dead Pony and Altered Images. There’s nothing that sets the tone better for a festival than a killer Thursday musical buffet. Friday continues the vibe including KT Tunstall, Newton Faulkner, Elephant Sessions and Punk Rock Factory to get your mid-summer dose of festival bliss. By Saturday you’ll be thinking it can’t get any more massive, and then while recovering from two days of hard partying, in your emoji covered bucket hat and sun blushed smile, you’ll have the chance to enjoy Peat & Diesel, Scouting For Girls, The Mysterines, The Xcerts and Torridon to name but a few.
AND if that wasn’t enough, the theme of this year’s festival is cartoons! So bring your best Rick and Morty impression, or Pikachu tail and get on board with the fun and frolicking in the festival fields.
