Escape Goats are from the city of Glasgow and formed their band at the start of 2024. This is their 6th studio release which is impressive for a band only a year old!
This indie rock tune consists of guitarist John Mclindens booming vocals during the verses, then is followed by drummer Adam Parkers melodious and tuneful voice during the chorus. This banger is produced by their bass player Andrew Shepherd who completes the song with his sick bass skills!
This indie, punk anthem is about somebody with their life planned out and dealing with the situation, of it falling apart in front of them. This shows the message of failure is possible but you can always overcome it and move on. These Glasgow rockers were influenced by the Robert Burns quote “the best-laid schemes o’mice an’ men gang aft agley” this song summarises this quote perfectly!
Escape Goats definitely have an eye-catching and thought provoking sound and are adding something different into the Scottish music scene!
