Niamh Corkey is a 23-year-old singer/ songwriter from Fife. Niamh has recently indulged in creating her own artwork through her talent and passion for music. Growing up with a family of musicians her music expresses her love for songwriting and singing, which we see through her newest single Complacency.
Released on the 31st of January, complacency integrates a tranquillising sensation. A sense of peace is accommodated with this track. It prevails a strong introduction. Our ears are met with an angelic fiddle as it soothes us into the song. Prior to its release, this song has featured on five different BBC radio shows including the Iain Anderson show on BBC Scotland. Spending her years collaborating with several bands and artists from all over Scotland, her talents are displayed through this vibrant song. As well as her collaborations, Niamh has recently completed an eleven date UK tour supporting award winning Scottish singer Siobhan Miler.
