Lil Bon is back with their first release of 2025 and it’s a banger.
Glasgow based solo artist Lil Bon has released their first single of the year. ‘Chowder’ tells the tale of wanting to escape your 9-5 life for something better, something I think most people can relate to.
‘Chowder’ is the first release since Lil Bon has signed to Glasgow’s own Electric Honey Records. A record label that was once home to renowned artists like Belle & Sebastian, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol.
The exceptionally catchy ‘Chowder’ will have you wanting to bop your head or fully get up and dance along, acting as a little escape from that boring 9-5 life that the lyrics sing of. The very modern pop-riddled track has not only some of the catchiest lyrics that are guaranteed to make you want to come back for more, but also a super fun groovy bass line. While not the style of music I would normally enjoy the upbeat vibe of ‘Chowder’ definitely had me wanting to boogie along.
