Pop artist Katie Nicoll recently hit the stage at The Poetry Club, Glasgow on the 15th of Febuary with support from Harley Walsh and Emily Evans who took turns warming up the crowd.

Although The Poetry Club is a small venue, Katie was a massive presence on stage. Accompanied by a four piece band, and a floral decorated mic stand, Katie had no issue getting the crowd engaged from minute she stepped out, kicking things off with her 2022 single ‘Easy Peasy’.
Katie also treated the crowd to an unreleased song near the end of the night titled ‘Do It To Myself’ and spoke about how the upcoming track is about being your own worst enemy, giving fans a little show of what to expect from her in the future.
As the night came to an end, the singer didn’t forget to initiate some well deserved cheers for her band, as well as asking fans to pose for a few pictures that she took on her digital camera before leading into the last song of the night.
The set ended with an ode to the Valentines weekend with her newest single titled ‘With You (Na Na Na)’, a song about getting over heartbreak. This definitely seemed to be a favorite among fans as they sang and waved along.
Even after the set had ended, the crowd continued to cheer as the band left the stage. I think its safe to say that everyone is greatly anticipating their return to Glasgow as well as future releases.
Overall, the gig was a blast, and I cant wait to see what Katie has in store for the future!
