Brand new single ‘Villains’ from Stay For Tomorrow will have you wanting to venture deeper into your darker side.
The energetic alt-rock group from Dunfermline formed in 2018 and have so far shared stages with the likes of Inglorious, Massive Wagons, Who Saves The Hero and Anchor Lane. Their dynamic and distinctive sound has them standing out in the scene, but it wasn’t until the release of their previous single ‘Restart’ that the band saw a pivotal moment in their career, the release saw the band receive their strongest radio backing to date, was this a sign of things to come?
New single ‘Villains’ which became available to listen to on the 8th of November takes on a theatrical approach to the Dunfermline rockers energetic sound. The dark tinged track is theatrical and epic in every way. This is not just another rock track; the high energy yet dangerous melody entices listeners to take a look into the villainous side of ourselves. There’s a strong hint of emo rock within this one but it also wouldn’t feel out of place on a stage show with the full range of instruments that are shown off here. The guitars however, and especially the big bright guitar solo keep listeners reminded that this is a rock song. I am a big fan of how big and theatrical this song is while still remaining true to their alt-rock genre, I think that Stay For Tomorrow are definitely a band to watch out for and this is possibly their strongest release yet.
